BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Southern India’s entertainment capital, Chennai, Mukund was exposed to music and film at a young age. Beginning with the piano he later completed training in audio technology at AR Rahman’s K.M.Music Conservatory.

 

In 2010, he began his career assisting various music composers/producers and went on to write jingles for Radio Mirchi, India’s #1 Radio station. He has since scored music for a number of radio and television commercials in the Indian film industry.

 

After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Mukund began scoring music for short films and documentaries. Many of which have been premiered at various acclaimed international film festivals around the world, some earning“ Best Music” nominations.  

 

Graduating with a Bachelors in Music Composition [Scoring for Visual Media] from Musicians Institute in Hollywood . Mukund started assisting composer Maxton Waller on the show “Rainbow Rangers” produced by the Nickelodeon Network. In 2019 he  began working as Music producer / Score assistant in the Indian Film Industry working with the likes of Pritam , Shantanu Moitra , G.V. Prakash Kumar , Julius Packiam and several others.   

 

His credits include Brahmāstra: Part One ( Dharma Productions/Disney)  Dabbang 3 ( Salman Khan Films) , Tanhaji ( Ajay Devgn Films ) , Baaghi 3 ( Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment), Gulabo Sitabo ( Rising Sun Films) to name a few.

 

He currently works out of his project studio in Mumbai, India balancing his time between scoring films and producing records.
